Bullseye Mushroom

The Bullseye Mushroom Coral gets its name by its alternating patches of color that give it a "bullseye" appearance. Also known as the Tonga Blue Mushroom, Bullseye mushrooms often have a red mouth and a body that is anywhere from violet to blue to dark purple in color, and sometimes with highlights of green. Like most other mushroom corals, the Bullseye mushroom is easy to care for, and will thrive in a variety of conditions in just about any reef aquarium. They prefer lower-light environments, however, and will do best if placed on or toward the bottom of the aquarium.
